Star Desert

Star Desert (流星砂漠, ryuusei sabaku^?, lit. "Desert of Shooting Stars/Shooting Desert") is one of the trial areas in Gaea, and it consists of a wide desert that has several stars buried throughout the place. Its comment line is: "A dreamy coexistence of sand and gems."

History

Luca's Route

The party was initially surprised to see a true desert for the first time, but then Luca came running to them, claiming she had a great problem: she had lost the Stars of Hope, which were essential for creating worlds, in this area. Cloche and Croix asked if she knew more specifically where she lost them, but Luca just replied they could be anywhere in the desert. Cloche stepped in, saying she understood why Luca was so upset and that they would search for the stars, but much to Croix's exasperation, Luca added that they could end up digging monsters out while they searched...

After a while of searching, they found the Stars of Hope, making Cloche sigh about experiencing on her own flesh the analogy of searching for a diamond ring on the desert, but Croix was just relieved they could finish this successfully, noting anything was possible if you tried. They then went back to Luca, who gladly thanked them. This in turn made Cloche happy too, and this made Soope manifest another Sphere Key.

Cloche's Route

Luca stepped in, saying they would search for the stars, but also told Cloche to stop whipping sand at them, although much to Croix's exasperation, Cloche added that they could end up digging monsters out while they searched...

After a while of searching, they found the Stars of Hope, making Luca complain about being all sweaty and covered in sand, but Croix was just relieved they could finish this successfully, noting anything was possible if you tried. They then went back to Cloche, who gladly thanked them. This in turn made Luca happy too, and this made Soope manifest another Sphere Key.

Layout

The area itself is only composed of a total of three rooms, each of which has several spots that can be excavated, all of which are marked by a "!" mark. The objective here is to dig out the three "Stars of Hope" that are buried on the desert, although there is only one per room. During your search, you will came across both items and monsters, so make sure to check up the maps corresponding to the route you're playing on due to both having entirely different item and monster placements.
