あけましておめでとう。 今年一番にみんなにこの挨拶が出来るのも役得よね。 ところでみんなは、今年の「新年の抱負」はもう済ませたかしら？まだの人は早くやっておいた方がいいわよ。「始め良ければ全て良し」と言うように、新年の抱負を立てる方が、今年一年が充実した年になるのよ。 私？私は「ギャグの更なる洗練」「料理上手くなる」「ミミミの知能向上させる」「ネネシャと旅行する」「熱いギャグで気温上昇」ってところかしら。 多すぎるんじゃないかって？そんな事無いわよ。だって「新年の抱負」なだけに「豊富」に取りそろえたのよ？　ぷーくすくす……

Happy New Year. I get to be the first to wish you happy new year this year. By the way, have you all come up with New Years' resolutions yet? If you haven't, you'd better hurry up. They say a good beginning makes a good ending, so a good resolution is an excellent way to ensure this year will go well for you. Me? I guess mine would be "Make my jokes even better", "get better at cooking", "improve Mimimi's cognitive abilities", "go traveling with Nenesha", and "effect global warming through hot jokes". What, you say that's too much? Not at all. After all, your New Year's resolutions have to have pretty fine resolution to them, right? pffffhmhmhm...

あけましておめでとうございます。 試験直前までアルトネリコ２をプレイしていましたが、無事に大学に合格しました。 アルトネリコのおかげです。 もし、もしもこのトウコウが2011年で最初のトウコウだったら…。 主人公ズ、特にクロアが女装する夢が見れる…。 そんな気がするんだ…。 (プログラマもどき)

Happy New Year. I played Ar tonelico 2 straight up to my exams, but I managed to get into college. If, if this post happens to be the first post of the new year... I'll probably have a dream of the main characters crossdressing, especially Croix... I get the feeling that would happen... (Programmer Modoki)

	この数秒後に、沢山のトウコウが押し寄せてきたんですよね。 話には聞いていましたけど、想像以上だったのでサキビックリしちゃいました！	We sure got a whole bunch of posts just a few seconds later. People talked about that before, but it was the first time I saw it myself, so I was really surprised!
	トウコウスフィアのために沢山の人が年明けの瞬間をパソコンの前で過ごしてくれていたんだなって思うと、ちょっとだけ申し訳ないと思う反面、嬉しくもあるよね。	When I think about how many people spent the first moments of the new year in front of the computers for the Toukousphere, it makes me feel a little sorry, but also really happy.

	投稿時間は1月1日0時00分00秒ジャスト、つまりこれが2011年最初の投稿ってわけね。 ……２０１１年最初に来た内容がこれって、どういうことかしら？ やっぱり、人間は汚らわしいから２０１１年もクレンジングに励め、ってこと？	The post time here was 00:00:00 exactly on the 1st, which makes this the first post of 2011. ...This was the first post of 2011? 	あはは、相変わらずクーくんはわかってないなぁ。 舐めて楽しめるのはサブフレちゃんの方に決まってるじゃん。 ちなみに、撫でて楽しめるのがＸＰちゃんだよ。	Hahaha, just as usual, Coo, you don't get it, do you? Subframey is obviously the fun one to lick. Oh, and XP is the fun one to pet.
	ＸＰはあの性格だから、頭を撫でるだけでも簡単に可愛らしい反応が返ってくるのは考えるまでもないわ。 あの子は素直だからね。 逆に、サブフレは頭を撫でようとすれば手で弾いてくるのは明らかだけど、果たして舐めたらどんな反応をするかしら？ 気味悪がって怒鳴りつけてくるか、平然としつつも蔑んだ目を向けてくるか、それとも怯えるか……想像が膨らまない？	Needless to say, XP's personality would make her react very cutely to a simple pat on the head. She's very straightforward and honest. And on the opposite end of things, Subframe would probably slap your hand away if you tried to pat her head, but what would she do if you tried to lick her? She'd probably look grossed out and yell at you, or quietly glare at you, or maybe recoil in fright... Can't you just see it now?

	なあ、今気付いたけど何か今回のトウコウ、ほとんどにハーヴェ様バンザイって単語が書かれてないか？	Hey, I just noticed, but aren't, like, almost all the posts just "Long live Lady Harve"?
	アオト殿も気づきましたか？ 今回のトウコウ、実はハーヴェスターシャ陛下への万歳コール、もしくは罵ってほしいというトウコウが多数来ていたのです。 いえ、多数と言うより、ほぼ全てのトウコウに万歳か罵って欲しいのどちらかが書かれていました。	Oh, so you noticed, too? There were quite a few posts this time calling for the long reign of Her Highness, or at least asking her to punish them. In fact, I believe almost all of the posts had one or the other written in them.
	万歳ならまだしも、年明け早々罵って欲しいとか言う人が出てきてしまうなんて…… 一体この事態をどうするつもりなんですか、サブフレちゃん！？	Wishing her a long reign is fine, but to think that people were asking her to punish them as soon as the new year came around... Just what are you trying to do, Subframey!?

I was shocked to see how many humans are still following me, though. We said it was going to be over at the end of August, so they should just unfollow me.

Getting to see Lady Cloche all lovey-dovey towards Croix on New Year's Eve brought tears to my eyes. I hope to see her totally break down in lovey-dovey mode on April Fool's! (Mini 9 Bulb)

	というより、あれはデレなのでしょうか？ もっとこう、今後は登場するたびにクロアと甘い会話ばかりするんだろうなぁ、と見ている人に思わせるくらいの会話をしてくれるかと思っていたのですが……	Well, can you really call that lovey-dovey? I thought she would have had such a sweet conversation with him that everyone watching would think, oh, I wish I could see them like this all the time...
	それをやると、今後はクロアと同じトウコウに対して喋る時、ほぼ全てそんな感じの会話内用になりかねないからできないのよ。 そもそもトウコウスフィアは深刻なまともなキャラ不足に見舞われているのよ？ 私までそんな風になったら大変でしょう？	Oh, but I couldn't do that. Then almost every post about us would be designed to draw out that sort of conversation. Besides, serious characters aren't called on to appear in the Toukousphere all that often. It would be awful if I deteriorated to that level.

	このトウコウを見た瞬間、なんかビビッと来たわ。 だから言うけど……勿体無い、なんて勿体無いことをしてるのあなたは！？ ここまで書いたなら、新番組予告風に2011年について色々書くべきだったでしょ！？ こう、新年予告、とか書いてその後はどうせ未来のことなんだからあることないことベラベラ書きまくって最後の最後はこう締めるのよ。 2011年、波乱の一年が今始まる！！ ……こんな感じのことができたというのに。	The instant I saw this post, a shock ran through me. I mean... can't you put any more effort into it than that!? If you wrote that much, you should have given us a preview of the new year, 2011!! Like, "In the next year!", like an episode preview, and then you write all about what's going to happen and what's not going to happen and then at the end you tie it up like this. The year 2011, a year of chaos, now begins!! ...And to think your post had so much promise.

	気持ちはわかりますけどね。 トウコウを読んでいると、何故かやたらと惹きつけられるものってありますよね。	I can understand how you feel. It's easy to get really caught up in some posts when you're reading them for some reason.
	時々あるわね。 ……ただ、惹きつけられはしたけど、上手く答えられない場合もあるけど。	I do that sometimes, too. ...but sometimes I don't really have any idea how to respond to them, either.

	食べたいと言われても、私はおせちなんか作ったことないわ。 我が家は貧乏だったから、安くて美味しくお腹一杯食べられるものしか作らなかったもの。そもそも、お節なんてお腹に溜まらないのにやたらと高い物なんて、我が家では誰も喜ばないし。	I'm happy to hear that, but I've never made anything like that before. Our home was poor, so I could only make things that were tasty, filled you up, and didn't cost much. Osechi is usually made from expensive things that aren't filling, so nobody would want to eat that in our house.
	そうだよね。 縁起物とか、祝いの料理だっていうのはわかるけど、もしお正月にあれが出てきたらガッカリするよ……。	That's right. That might be fine for some sort of really special event, but it would be kind of a letdown for New Year's...
	最近だと、おせち料理がダメで食べられない家とかもあるらしいけど、トゥルーリーワース家はまさにそれだったようね。	I think there's probably a lot of families who can't eat osechi these days, but I guess the Truelywaath family was one of them, too.
	勿体無いなぁ、おせちって凄く美味しいのに……	That's too bad, it's so delicious...
	ココナは栗金団以外ほとんど食べないけどな。	You hardly ever ate anything other than kurikinton, though.

	仕方ないわよ、栗金団は小さい子供の兄弟がいる家だと、兄弟ゲンカをして取り合うくらいに人気のあるものだしね。 ちなみに、ボンベルタンのおせち料理はお皿に山盛りの栗金団よ。 ココナちゃん、栗金団好きならぜひうちのお店でお腹いっぱい栗金団を食べてね！！	That's not surprising. It's really popular; siblings will fight over who gets to have the most. By the way, the osechi we serve at Bon Beltan is a plate full of kurikinton. If you like kurikinton, Cocona, you should come to our restaurant and eat until your stomach is full of it!!

新年明けましておめでとうございます。 五祝儀を見た後に、ふと何となしに過去のトウコウスフィアを 見返しましたら、昔と今のボリューム量の違いに戦慄いたしました。 （特に現在のトウコウスフィアのスクロールバーの長さに） 毎回楽しく拝見させていただいてますが、トウコウの皆様、 お体にお気をつけて今年も頑張ってください。 (心はウィルス生命体)

Happy New Year. After I read the special issue, I decided to have a look through some old issues, and I was totally shocked at the difference in volume between now and then. (Especially at the length of the scroll bar nowadays) I'll definitely continue to enjoy reading this, but please all take care of yourselves as you work hard this year. (Virus Lifeform at Heart)

	オリカ、やるとしても新年一発目からそれは縁起が悪いだろ。 やるならもっと別の機会にしようぜ。	Hey, that kinda thing's bad luck on New Year's. Why don't we leave that for another time?
	というより、どうして突然ここまで長くなったのかが不思議でなりません。 特に一つのトウコウに対して我々が返答する回数が極端に増えました。 ７０回目辺りまでは平均一つのトウコウに対して４発言くらいだったのが、今では平均８発言ですよ？	Still, it's awfully unusual how things go so long all of a sudden. Look especially at how many more of us respond to a single post now. Up until about issue 70 there would be about 4 responses to a post, but now it's not unusual for there to be 8.
	それは、キャラが増えたせいです。 少しでも登場できる人を増やすためにはこうするしかなかったのです。	That's because there are more characters now. This was the only way to make sure people had a chance to participate.

最近、寝付きがよくありません。自分はかなりの冷え性なので、この季節は布団に入って電気アンカをいれても身体の末端が冷えてしまいます。何か寝付きがよくなる方法はありませんか？ (咲也)

I haven't been sleeping well lately. I get cold pretty easily, so even if I get in the futon with a heating pad, I'll end up cold in my extremities. Do you have any good ideas on how to get to sleep? (Sakiya)

さーしゃも家が寒いので、夜は手足が冷えて大変なんです…。ですからその気持ちはわかるですよ。さーしゃは特に足が寒いですので、靴下で足りないときは、足に被せる用の毛布を足に巻いて寝るですよ。そうすると、足が布団の外に出ちゃう事もありませんから、あったかです。

My house is cold, so my hands and feet will get chilly at night... So, I definitely know how you feel. My feet get really cold, so when my socks aren't enough to keep me warm, I sleep with my legs wrapped up in a blanket that keeps them from moving. That way they won't poke out from the futon, so I stay nice and warm.

Oh, um, I don't know much about the GUST Shop... I always make grab bags at my shop every year. To show my appreciation for all my regular customers, I sell them for 100 Leaf when they can have values up to 5000 Leaf. So, the store is always packed at New Year's. Happy new year! I was hoping my Suppotail could meet a knight this year, so I tried making a Suppotail-sized 3D Lyner! This Lyner is modeled on the concept drawing of Lyner from page 60 of the Ar tonelico 1 settei book (.. ヒュムネコード自体は登録したらされっぱなしで、オリカのように一致があれば、たとえ元々の持ち主が死亡していてもヒュムノスエクストラクトを謳えるのでしょうか？ 肉体はなくても、CSの保存期間内であれば認証されそうな気がするのですが。謳える場合、サーバー内のデフラグで誤認先βのCSが消去されてしまったら謳えなくなったりするのでしょうか。 (ねこだいすき)

Once a Hymn Code has been recorded, if it finds a match like what happened with Aurica, can that person sing Hymmnos Extracts even if its original owner is dead? I think it would be recognized if the CS is still around, even if their body is gone. But they wouldn't be able to sing them anymore if the code's original β owner's location inside the server has been reclaimed, right? (I love cats)

オリカとの一致は精神世界全体を一致できるわけではないわ。別に私とオリカが同じ精神世界を持っている訳じゃないし、実際の所全然違うしね。ヒュムネコードっていうのはファイル名みたいなものね。名前が同じでも、中身が違うファイルは沢山あるでしょう？オリカと私も、名前は同じだけど全然違う「ファイル」なのよ。 そもそも、１つの精神世界アドレスを共有する状態というのは相当特殊よ。ルカとフレリアの間で行っていたＤセロファンを使用するタイプであっても、これすらも精神世界を一致させるまでには至らない。だから、根本的にエクストラクトの共有は不可能ね。

My match with Aurica wasn't a complete match of our Cosmospheres. We don't have the same Cosmosphere, and our server locations are completely different. A Hymmne Code is like a filename. There are lots of files with the same name but different contents, aren't there? Aurica and I may share the same name, but we're different "files". It's very unusual for Reyvateils to share the same server address. Even types that share a D-cellophane like Luca and Frelia don't have their Cosmospheres recognized as being the same. So, fundamentally, it's impossible for them to share an Extract like that.

んー、クロガネの脳内はアマゾンの秘境よりも恐ろしいところだから、私には真実は分からないわ。でも、クロガネも完全な想像ではないと思う。あの人、あれでいて色んな分野に精通していたし、科学書以外にも沢山読んでたから、どこかから引っ張ってきているかも。あながちＣＯＳＡＬってヤツもこの世に存在する何かかも知れないわ。

Mmm, Kurogane's mind is more frightening than the depths of the Amazon, so I don't really know the truth, but he didn't have a flawless imagination either. He knew a lot about a number of different fields, and was well-read outside of physics, so he might have gotten it from somewhere else. But then again, COSAL might actually be something that really exists.

V-boards are popular enough to have tournaments, but what exactly are you competing for? The scene with Tatsumi vs Soma looked like a speed race, but it looked like Tatsumi was practicing tricks. Is it like snowboarding where you have different fields of entry? (Sakiya)

Ｖボードレースは、純粋にスピード競技だよ。もちろん、曲芸的な大会も各地で行われたりするけど、少なくともアルキアで開催される全国大会のアレは、スピード競技。 ボクが練習していたトリックみたいなものは、もちろんそのスピード競技に向けた練習の一環だよ。レースの風景をみていたらわかると思うけど、結構普段から衝突したりされたりするし、あと、結構キツイカーブがあったりするんだ。だから、ターンの練習やバランスを崩したときの立て直し方とか、色々練習しなくちゃ行けない事は多い。その練習の一環ってこと。

V-board races are pure speed contests. There are also acrobatic competitions, but the all-national event held in Archia is a speed race. The training I was doing that looked like practicing tricks was also supposed to help me in a speed race. I think you'd probably understand if you watched a race, but you're always running the risk of collisions, and there are some really nasty curves on the track. So, you really have to practice a lot of different things, like how to take a hard turn, and how to recover if you lose your balance. That's what I was focusing on.

I understand that the current Maiden of Mio, Luca, and Maiden of Mio, Lady Cloche, are the top of the society in the second tower, but who will succeed them when they retire? Well, so be it. The Grand Bell follows a rule of linear descent, so the Holy Maiden would be succeeded by her heirs. However, since society is moving in a more democratic direction with the creation of Metafalica, the next Holy Maiden will probably be chosen by the people. The rules of succession haven't been finalized yet, but the Holy Maidens and I agree this is how it should be.

I think I read somewhere that Lady Shurelia designed the Silver Horn. If Lady Shurelia could do that, could any of the others characters? Is Lady Shurelia also an accomplished engineer? (Nan)

私が設計したのは、導力の変換方法やリミッタの部分だけで、基本は当時の技術者さんとの共同開発ですよ。その当時のエンジニアさんがいなければ、シルヴァホルンは完成しなかったでしょう。きゅっきゅっ♪

I only designed the specifications for the methods of transmitting and limiting Symphonic Power; it was basically a joint effort between me and the technicians of that era. The Silver Horn wouldn't have been completed without the help of the engineers of that day. Kyukkyu♪
