That's right! Since we're doing a review of Ar tonelico 3, I thought we should
hear it straight from an actual Ar tonelico 3 character.

I really couldn't do anything for myself when I first started living with Cro.
So there's really a whole lot Cro's had to teach me.
No way, he taught me a lot more than that.
We probably spent the most time on studying, I think.
I grew up in the slums, so I really couldn't even read when I first met
Croix, and I couldn't really do any math.
He taught me everything about working around the house, too, and he even taught
me proper table manners for when we went out to eat!!
I had the most fun when he was teaching me how to cook, though.
Making food was really fun, and eating it together when it was finished
was really fun, too, and we were even able to clean up together, ehehe......

I started working on this the instant Master Hama said "I won't allow any pictures of Jack looking cool". I have no regrets.
Lately he's seemed like a character who's always down on hard times in the Toukousphere, but I think Jack is essentially a really cool character. He made a really strong impression on me the way he was working really hard to take care of Misha while everyone else was trying to wake up Lady Shurelia. I remember being taken with him more and more as he exuded that aura of "I don't care how it looks, I'll do whatever it takes for someone I love". So, I decided to put those feelings into a picture of Jack from his days as Harmonica. It's not that great of a picture, but I hope it expresses at least some of Jack's greatness.
Finally, I love you, Jaaaaaaaaccckkkk!!!!!

my joy at the time.
If someone asked you, "Would you like to eat some cake?", you'd probably say,
"Gladly!", right? It's just like that.
That's right! Whenever a customer would say, "One order of beer!", Milady
would always say, "Gladly!"
But sometimes when someone would say something like, "Are you trying to get
your customers eaten by bugs!?", she'd still say, "Gladly!"

I love the Croix who took on the name "Breast Sommelier" in the Toujousphere.
Actually, I love Lady Cloche and Croix about the same, so I wasn't sure which to draw, but for some reason I decided on Croix.

A lot happened while I was making Finnel, like having parts pop and perform a real Purge, but as you can see, it's pretty big. It's about 160cm from the top of her head to her feet. I guess you could say it's life-sized. It's the biggest one I've made, and second in the number of balloons I needed only behind Misha.

I really wanted to be here with Subframey, but she said "there'll just be a bunch of weirdos again" and ran off.
I don't know how well I'll do by myself, but I hope you all enjoy it.
Well, we couldn't properly depict that scene, so they don't really disappear.
Basically, Reyvateils turn into water when they die. Reyvateil's bodies are made out of a particular type of biofluid using a Tripolar Resonance Incubator and the principle of equivalent exchange, while their Nuclear Triangular Loop is what performs that transformation and preserves the form of their bodies, so once it stops working, they turn back to the water their bodies are made out of.
Of course, it's not regular water. The details are recorded in the Ar tonelico 3 settings materials book, so please read it, okay?
I have a question about the AHPP from 700 years ago
I don't think they knew how to make a Heart of the Land in the beginning,
so what were they going to use instead?

Well, it's not like they didn't know how to make a Heart of the Land 700 years ago - they did.
For certain reasons the technology was transferred to the Second Tower, and then someone called Jaza took the secret files down from the Tower with them and used it as a base to create EXEC_METAFALICA/.
So, the Heart of the Land originated in the Third Tower, but before long the Antibodies appeared in the Third Tower, and as a result Kurogane Laboratories in the Tower of Origins was destroyed, so that research isn't in the modern Third Tower anymore, and most people there don't know anything about it.
There's more information about this in the Ar tonelico 3 setting materials book, too, so please have a look at it.
Hymmnos songs whose names start with "EXEC_FLIP" change the body of the
Reyvateils who sing them,
but would that mean the song that turns Mute into her muscly body is
also a FLIP song?
Why would it be "EXEC_CUTYPUMP" instead of "EXEC_FLIP_CUTYPUMP"? Please
tell me!

Hee hee hee, this question must be for me.
Cutypump isn't an EXEC_FLIP song. EXEC_FLIP is a special program that can
only be executed by the βs of the Third Tower. Not much has been said
about it, but as long as you don't use the related libraries or I/O
routines, it's not EXEC_FLIP.
EXEC_FLIP is a standard method for altering the physical construction of
the body, but my Cutypump is able to achieve this as just a normal
EXEC Hymmnos. That's the
one thing I absolutely want you to understand about it!!
Even a monkey could create an effect using libraries that were built to
support it. You couldn't call that research. True research is pioneering into yet-unsupported fields!
Maybe the Technical's the right place for this question. It's about the names
of the Teru and the Necrofamilies.
The middle names of Lyra and Flute, and Harmonica and Tastiella are all the
same; a Teru's middle name indicates the clan they belong to, right?
So, if it's "First name - clan - family name", and Ayatane Kureha Kirinami's
name in the Cielian style would be Kureha Pel Kirinami, that must mean the Necrofamilies of the Third Towers' names follow the pattern "Clan - first name - family name", which means Ayatane is his clan name, correct?

Yes, that's exactly right. So, when Lyner and the others were calling him
"Ayatane", it's just like calling Jack "Hey, Los!"
They should have called him "Michitaka". Well, it looks like people have
been calling me Ayatane, too.
To put it in terms you might understand better, it's kind of like calling
someone from the capital of Japan "Hey, Tokyo!". It's not exactly the same, but
it's not that dissimilar either.
Cocona sang METHOD_HYMMELI/. because the Tower didn't have enough Symphonic
Power to fire the XP Shell. In other words, Cocona's song supplied the enormous
amount of power necessary to activate it by transferring it from Metafalica.
However, it's hard to believe that a single Reyvateil would be able to
supply that much power by herself.
My theory is that Cocona's song, and thus the IPDs who responded to her
feelings, combined their consciousness together like during Metafalica, or
perhaps Replekia, and that's how they were able to supply such a great amount
of Symphonic Power.
If so, I can't help but wonder if Lady Cloche, the IPD Queen, would have had
to play a part in it somehow, but... Just how did it work? I'd love to hear
an answer.

Umm, well, naturally Lady Cloche had to acknowledge Cocona's use of that much
Symphonic Power, and Cocona had to convey her feelings to the IPDs of the
Second Tower to get their cooperation, and as a result of the IPDs' help
they were able to transmit power to the Third Tower... or, specifically,
to the Kaira units as an unknown relay device, so it's just as you had
guessed.
I put a lot of attention into the feelings behind Hymmeli to help make
that process go smoothly.
I wish Subframey had been here, too.
It's such a nice, serious place.
I hope to be able to do the title call together with Subframey next time,
so I hope you'll all look forward to it.
Ar tonelico 3 has been out for 3 months, but amazingly, the excitement and
volume of the posts in the Toukousphere hasn't gone down at all.
This time we got over 600 posts in the past two weeks! That's 3 times as
many as our normal 200 or so; we never hit the 600 mark when Ar tonelico 2
came out.
I suppose things are loved more the longer they've been around. I hope
you'll continue to follow us from now on!
