There isn't any staff, though, we're the only ones answering questions in the Toukousphere and in the Toujousphere. But, well, why don't we talk a little bit about what went on behind the scenes this time? Um, the Toujousphere was really crazy, but it was also crazy how many responses we got about it. In less than 24 hours we got way more than we normally would in two weeks ... By the way, right now it's 6:10 am on 4/2, and we still haven't read through all of them. This is my first post, and I'd like it addressed to the Technical Service Center. I have a question about Song Magic. If you sing a Song that calls forth fire, when you stop, the fire disappears, but your opponents' burns (due to the Song Magic) are still there. So, what about Ayatane, who was created by Mir, or the Tower created by Viena? Is Mir still singing a Song to summon Ayatane, or was the Song's effect to create Ayatane's existence? Likewise, is the tower created by Viena an ongoing effect or a result? This has been keeping me up at night. (Raki) |

To answer your question, the security measures in place at the time were unable to deal with the Teru using their powers at full capacity. The Teru had never supported the humans in any real combat situation, and they'd never used their powers to try to kill or hurt humans before. I think General Akane could probably answer this question, but ... Just how powerful are the Clustanian Reyvateils in battle, anyway? Even if you take for granted that they can craft average-level songs in shallow Cosmosphere levels, isn't it true they wouldn't be able to get to very deep levels ( = their magic won't be very strong)? A Reyvateil army with more balanced magic would probably be really strong, but ... (Hound of the Baskervilles) |

栄誉有るテクニカルサービスセンター参戦第一位は私になりましたか。大変光栄です。 さて、クラスタニアのダイブシステムについてですが、確かにレベル９まで到達するレーヴァテイルは皆無です。ですが、陛下の計算のお陰で、ほぼ全てのレーヴァテイルはレベル５まで開発が進みます。 なぜなら、その階層やその精神的特性に対して有効な人間を選抜し、その階層その事象毎に相手を替える為です。 スレイヴにいるクレンジングされた人間達は、その趣向や性癖など、全て陛下の情報システムの中にストックされています。そこから事象毎に最高効率なペアを選出する事など容易い事なのです。 愛がなければダイブは深い階層まで行けない、というのは間違いで、愛が有れば深い階層の事象についてダイバーがレーヴァテイルの精神的ゆさぶりをかけやすい、というだけです。 逆に言えば、深い階層で精神的揺さぶりを掛けることが出来る適性によって選抜することで、初めて同士であっても可能です。ただ、もちろん「クレンジングされた人間」である事が重要だったりするのですが。 |
So I'm the first one to appear in the well-renowned Technical Service Center. This is quite an honor. Now, about the Clustania Diving system. Of course, none of our Reyvateils can Dive to Lv. 9. However, thanks to the calculations of Lady Harvestasha, almost all of the Reyvateils have made it to Lv. 5. That's because she chooses their partners such that they'll best suit the needs of their Reyvateils at that level. The preferences and idiosyncracies of all the Cleansed humans in the Slave sector are stored in Lady Harvestasha's information system, so it's easy for her to choose the most effective pair possible. It's not quite right to think that you can't Dive into higher levels without love; it's just that it's easier for the Diver to have a profound psychic impact on a Reyvateil that way. Or, to put it the opposite way, it's possible to choose a Reyvateil's partner based on their aptitude for influencing the Reyvateil's Cosmosphere. Of course, it's important that her partner is a Cleansed human in this case. |

Aren't humans such inconvenient creatures, though? We maintenance robots can perform searches against such a vast library of knowledge at any time and comprehend the results instantly, but to have such a vague understanding of the truth ...
