A Song heard during the events of Phase 2 in Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia.
The most recent Hymmnos crafted before the events of the game, with the aim of keeping Mir sealed inside the Crescent Chronicle, as it acts as the "Key" that keeps its sealing functions active. It was created as a collaboration of sorts between the second most powerful Reyvateil in the Second Era, Lune, and the Tower Administrator, Shurelia. Lune provided the feelings of pity and sympathy she felt for Mir, while Shurelia made use of them to create the perfect Song that would send Mir to sleep.[1][2]
Only a Lune lineage Reyvateil can Sing it, as it was designed in a way that only Lune's direct clones (Lune lineage Reyvateils, including Misha) would be able to employ it. Said design was based on the Preinstall method, in which the Song is inserted inside the D-Cellophane used to create and raise the Reyvateil, which allows her to Sing it from the time she is born. However, this has the disadvantage that if the D-Cellophane is ever stolen, the Reyvateil will become unable to Sing the Song until she recovers it. Since there is only a D-Cellophane containing Lune's genetic information and this song, it's of extreme value to the Upper World's population.[3][4][5]
To keep its effects, it has to be Sung without pause for at least twelve continuous hours per day. Otherwise, the seal will begin weakening, allowing Mir to gradually gain strength to fight back against it until she can break it by herself.[6]
This is the Song for which Misha was created, like all her predecessor Star Singers. The search for it after it was stolen is the focal point of Misha's route in Phase 2, and it's also one of the main plot points in the game. After it was recovered, it was Sung in two occasions to seal Mir again, although its effects didn't last long because of outside circumstances: the first time, a Mir-possessed Shurelia kicked Misha out of the Crescent Chronicle, while the second time Ayatane made sure that Misha wouldn't Sing it.

The girl was different since she was born,

and could be transported by the wind even beyond the
end of the faraway plains.
The people feared her as a Child of God, and because of
that, she was always alone
However, a certain day, she met a young hunter, and from
that day on, the girl changed.
Because she did not want to be alone anymore.
The hunter said to her:

Then, why there have to be differences separating us all?"
The girl thought about it...
She wanted to craft happiness eternally with this boy.
She sealed that annoying power off, and became a normal girl
The girl turned into a traveling singer, going to all the
towns in the world to sing.
The boy turned into a music player, and continued to protect
the songs of the girl
However, the power of the girl took away that small happiness
from them.
She was separated from the boy, and brought in presence of the
king when it was discovered she was the Child of God.
However, she was not able to open her mouth even once, and at
the end, for opposing to the will of the king, the girl was
robbed from her freedom.
Inside of that dark cage of iron, the girl was not able to
do anything but sing, and still, they forced her voice out
from her.
And in this way, the time continued flowing onwards.
The girl grew up, and at the same time, the young man that
once was a boy began to miss his beloved person.
During that time, his [feelings] for her did not change
Still, he watched carefully the castle, like a falcon with
its sharp eyes,
awaiting for the day in which he could sneak in and save
his beloved.
And on that day, during the festival of the kingdom, the
young man infiltrated in the castle
Finally, they had reunited after so many years
The girl cried, while the young man embraced her
However, that happiness was not going to last long...
Immediately as he was found, the young man was arrested,
and promptly decapitated...
The girl shouted in horror, and began singing enraged
The same girl that no one wanted to heard since more than
ten long years ago
As soon as the girl began singing,
the castle became a sea of fire, and the festival changed
into the scene of a disaster
The king came in and killed the girl
Before dying, she went beside the young man that so many times
had protected her from certain death, and embracing him, she
closed her eyes for the last time...

- According to a question posted in the Toukousphere, this is actually one of the around ten-odd versions of Chronicle Key that existed during the last 400 years. Some of these versions supposedly are similar to this one, while others are completely different, but as they have never been shown to the public, neither there has been any word of them being worked in, they most likely will always remain as a mystery.[7]
- Akiko Shikata once sang a version of this song in Japanese as part of one of her live concerts. Unfortunately, the song itself can't be found or listened anywhere, but its lyrics were printed in a score sheet for the main vocals of the song, which was given to buyers of her albums at the Gust Shop during the last days of 2011 and the first days of 2012.
- While the Song's title is always printed as [EXEC_CHRONICLE_KEY/.], Akira Tsuchiya himself has confirmed it is only due to the inconsistencies that existed in the world setting during Ar tonelico's creation, and the proper title is actually [EXEC_CHRONICLE=KEY/.] due to being a Hymmnos title with two words and not a program with a subprogram.[8]
