Melancholia

Melancholia (識者の憂鬱, shikisha no yuuutsu^?, lit. "Melancholy of the Wise/Black Dog") is one of the trial areas in Gaea, and it consists of a large library in which the entirety of the knowledge of the land's creator and owner resides. Its comment line is: "Mountains of knowledge, waiting for a landslide."

History

Luca's Route

Upon arriving at this place, Luca received Croix and Cloche, explaining to them that this was a world of book where the all of the knowledge of Gaea was stored. Cloche replied it didn't seem like there were many books for so much knowledge, to which Luca said that the most important books were kept in the back. She then asked Croix and Cloche for help in organizing the bookshelves, as there were so many books that it was extremely hard for her alone to do so. Cloche said she didn't mind helping, to which Luca replied astonished if she would really do it. Cloche began thinking there was something fishy about how Luca was acting, but it was too late to change her decision.

A while later, they finished, commenting on that they couldn't believe how many books there were in the place and why Cloche seemed so exasperated. Luca thanked them upon seeing the result, and promised to keep her feelings and thoughts better organized alongside the books, which made Soope manifest yet other Sphere Key.

Layout

A relatively simple area, as the only point of it is going to the back room and pushing the piles of books into the shining circles at the back. It shouldn't give the player many problems, but if they get stuck, they can ask Luca/Cloche to reset the puzzle. Likewise, if they still can't figure out the solution, they can check an example of how to solve it next to the maps for the area. Additionally, they don't have to worry about enemies or random encounters, as there aren't any of them in this place.
