My glorious Technical Service Center begins!!
Uogghh! I have to say that this corner is the most suitable place for me, yet I was unable to take part in it for some reason! Isn't is strange!?
But well, as long as I'm here, I'm going to go as wild as showy as I can.
So we will start right now, but I have to say to those that sent multiple questions in an itemized form that they should mind that doing this makes it far less probable for their submissions to be published.
If you wish to ask multiple questions, make sure to send a number of submissions equal to them! Heeheehee!!
Now I read again the setting materials collection for 1, I see Misha's age is stated to be 18.
But is that her true age, or it's that her physical age is supposed to be equivalent to 18?
Reyvateils that aren't Third Generations, like the Origins and the Pureblooded β-types are supposed to be born with the same physical and mental age as a 6 year-old child right? I'm thinking that should cause a difference between their actual age and their physical age, so how is their age calculated in Platina?
It's just as you say: there is a difference between a Reyvateil's age and the time she has been actually living. For example, Misha is 18, but since she was born with the appearance and mentality of a six year-old, the time she has been actually working is 12 years.
By the way, I was born before the method for cultivating Reyvateils until they were six year olds, the Tripolar Resonant Incubator was created, so my physical age matches the time I've been in operation: it's 16 years.
There's been people that went from a Tower to another like Loude and Jakuri, but how did they know the exact location for the other Towers? I'm thinking the risk would have been far too large if they didn't have that information.
(Make a Lady Shurelia Fan Club Too!)
That doesn't mean we actually rushed in to the other Towers like that, you know?
The exact location of the other Towers isn't something a Queen of the Underworld like myself shouldn't know. That is because if you are in Tenba, which is under my jurisdiction, discovering their position by pointing a scope as you look up at the sky to see the Symphonic Power streams is pretty simple.
Well, to put it simple, it's like an infrared ray scope. You won't see anything if the Symphonic Power stream isn't strong enough, but somehow we managed to see a belt-shaped Symphonic Power stream shooting in Sol Marta's direction from Platina. If the Blastline wasn't there, anyone could see it at even lower altitudes.
Ever since I was in glorious Archia, finding something like coordinates to a place was my specialty. After all, we have in our possessions many relics from the First Era. We could calculate Metafalss's position just from perusing ancient documents, so there was nothing to worry about.
This is my first submission.
I've got a question about Diving: several people Dived into a single Reyvateil once, but can the reverse happen? It sounds like it's impossible for multiple Reyvateils to Dive into a single human, but I think a single human should be able to Dive into multiple Reyvateils.
I've already done a Dive with multiple humans Diving into a single Reyvateil. Didn't I take in Croix, Luca and Cloche into the first five strata of my Soulspace? But as you would expect, the higher the stratum, the higher the strain they put on the mind, so doing that at higher levels would be impossible.
As for the opposite... most likely the Diver would end up insane. No, it isn't because of a reason like getting devoured by getting double-punched by two enormous Soulspaces... even in the best-case scenario. It's because doing such a Dive would be like trying to focus each eye into watching two different TVs each tuned to a different channel. If you did that, do you think you'd be able to earnestly discuss the contents of the shows running in each channel? Because that's the sort of situation that would happen here.
I've got a question about the Origins.
I've been wondering how their bodies are constructed, so I began checking the previous issues and the setting material collection books, but in issue #15 of the Technical Service Center, Lady Shurelia said they are born from a Triangular Nuclear Loop.
However, we were told in issue #33 that the Triangular Nuclear Loop shuts itself down after working for 150 years.
But the Origins have lived for more than 700 years, so the fact they were born from a Triangular Nuclear Loop shouldn't contradict everything said so far?
If the Triangular Nuclear Loop isn't what constructs the bodies of the Origins, what does construct them?
By the way, the explanation Lady Shurelia gave on issue #15 was almost identical to the answer she gave in issue #33 about how the Pureblooded β-Types are created, so I'm beginning to wonder if Lady Shurelia wasn't mistaken!
Sis was mistaken? No, it's just that she didn't make the explanation clear enough... hmm, I'm not sure if I should explain it myself, but well... Officially, the version of the Triangular Nuclear Loop that the Pureblooded β-types are endowed with is actually a mass-produced version. After them, a high-end version of it was made, which is the Triangular Nuclear Loop only Tyria is endowed with, but these actually are the only two versions of it that have the Telomere mechanism.
The fact that the Pureblooded β-types' Triangular Nuclear Loop have Telomeres is what makes them have such a short operational life. It was mainly due to budget and technological problems, so there was no choice but to make them as generic models. And also, it looks like it was a strategy they were made this way to not allow them to have extremely long lives. In any case, Telomeres are essential to the Pureblooded β-types. By the way, Tyria's Triangular Nuclear Loop doesn't have a built-in limiter for a 150 year period and instead has a Telomere countdown that decreases whenever it gets overloaded due to her body suffering some kind of damage.
The Triangular Nuclear Loops me and Sis are endowed with are far more amazing than the mass-produced ones, as our operational time is far longer than that of the βs. Since we weren't supposed to have a limited operational time, the concept of Telomeres doesn't apply to us, so we won't die due to the Triangular Nuclear Loop shutting itself down. But instead, we have a different kind of safety valve: that is the part that processes me and Sis' operation. The system that controls our operation is set as part of the SIS, and to explain simply what is that, it's basically a part whose power can be shut off with a single switch. In other words, it's pretty easy to make us stop working.
In the end, that's just to make it far easier for us to be artificially intervened, so if we focus on the strong points the Triangular Nuclear Loop for Tyria has over the ones used in the Origins and the βs, it also has the Telomeres as a system that can determine when it begins suffering from spontaneous anomalies and thus, decides when to shut it down.
Finally, Telomeres are stored in the hinge part of the Triangular Nuclear Loop called the "Hexagonal Hinges", but not all of them store Telomere, as both Sis and me have Hexagonal Hinges in our Loops but we don't have any Telomere. This information is planned to be published in the setting encyclopedia for AT3, so if you're interested, make sure to read it!
In the previous issue, it was said that "the Dive Machines in Clustania are exclusively for the Reyvateils, and they are connected to the Dive Machines installed in the Slave District used by the humans", so it means that if it was possible to invade the Slave District and enter the Dive Machines, it'd be possible to Dive into completely defenseless Reyvateils...!
Unfortunately, that is impossible. Dive Machines in the Slave District can't be accessed by anyone but the people that have an ID stating they have been chosen for Cleasing. Well, if you dared to receive that brainwashing and managed to get through it unaffected due to having a strong mind, you could get permission to enter the machines without turning into a vegetable. But from the looks of it, no one has ever been able to do it successfully. Heeheehee...
Thanks for the great support you gave use during the Phase 2 of the Gratitude Festival event! Everyone in staff was shocked to see so many people gathered at once. We had to go with trial-and-error for all sorts of things in order to make this event in a shape in which everyone could enjoy it somehow, even those that were chosen, and of course, those that regrettably couldn't come to the event for some reason or because they lived too far away.
Several related products will be making their appearance from now on, so please make sure to look forward to them!
