We can say that they are both. They are made through Song Magic... but if we said that, it would give the impression that they would disappear when we stopped singing, when we actually don't sing at the time of performing a Costume Change, and at the same time, you aren't wrong at guessing that they are a product of Song Magic. They are in essence, the same as "Song Magic", but they are a product of the singing of the Triangular Nuclear Loop that the Reyvateils have within them.
The singing of the Triangular Nuclear Loop releases Dynamic D-Waves around us, which then produce the materials and shape of the costumes, and finally turn into Static D-Waves, creating them. Ah, and by the way, don't even dare to ask if I would get stripped if Infel Phira stopped functioning, because that is not going to happen. The costumes would just return to being the feelings of Mother Nature. In other words, they would just return to being the things that were created by Ar Ciel: to my original clothes.
This is addressed to the young ladies of the Technical Service Center. I'll begin by confessing myself.
...I haven't read the Toukousphere since a long time ago, so I'm very sorry (well, because I was pretty busy following the Holy Scriptures and going on a pilgrimage...)
So I spent the entirety of the last night reading all of the previous issues... hehe.
And well, this is the last inquiry I thought off, and that's what I'd like to ask.
The official format for the Song Magic crafted by the Reyvateils is "EXEC_HYMME_OO", but does that same format apply for the IPDs too?
According to what I read in the previous issues, I remember it being described as something like "the partners (of the IPDs) would know", but does this mean that the Song Magic crafted through the New Testament of Pastalie would be "METHOD_HYMME_OO"?
(Onino@Following from now the Special Spoiler Information Agency)
That is correct. METHOD_HYMME_XXX/. is the official format used by our Song Magic. Well, that actually doesn't mean that you can know it from the name of the Song Magic: it would be more correct to say that you can know it if the Hymmnos language used to sing it has a more mechanical pronunciation.
Anyway, the name is indeed METHOD_HYMME.
In comparison to EXEC_HYMME; I have to say that its actual efficacy is much higher because of its faster execution timing. Fufufu....
Please, explain me something about the Hymn Codes.
I think in a previous Toukousphere issue, it was said that Aurica, a Third Generation that by nature doesn't have a Hymn Code, was incorrectly recognized as Mir by the Tower, due to her Gene Spectrum having a very similar shape to Mir's.
What I want to ask is that when it was said that Third Generations don't have Hymn Codes, it was actually meant that either:
-They really don't have one.
-They do have one, but since it wasn't registered in the Tower's database, they are treated as if "they didn't have one".
So, which one would be?
I think the correct one would be the latter option. In the first place, it could be said that all Reyvateils "have" Hymn Codes, except for the part of they being created separately from them by writing them into an isolated part of their mental spectra. For example, you know everyone has fingerprints, right? Well, the police only has registered the fingerprints of a handful of people. In other words, we could interpret this as the fingerprints being the Hymn Codes and having them registered by the police would be as being recognized by the Tower as "having" a Code. So basically, Misha already had her fingerprints registered by the police. In my case, it'd be as if Miu had done something and after the police got word of it, when they went to compare the fingerprints, they found a perfect match with mine instead due to them not looking correctly at the prints, getting myself falsely accused of a crime I didn't commit... more or less. Does this make it easier to understand?
If someone gets seriously injured during a Dive, like when Croix was stabbed by Miros' blade at the very end of Jakuri's fifth stratum and the story ended at that point, would it be possible for them to continue having some residual pain when the Dive ends and the Diver returns to reality?
Basically, that the brain would misrecognize "that the body was stabbed" and gives off the feeling of a non-existent wound aching. I don't think it's impossible, but would that actually happen?
Agh, shut it! Of course it's possible, as that's the so-called "phantom pain"! That's when you feel pain because your mind thinks "It hurts for sure, so it should hurt!" even if your body is perfectly fine. And naturally, since the mind is laid bare and placed to the most extreme environment during a Dive, it's pretty standard fare for Divers to suffer from phantom pain. Looks like that boy Croix didn't suffer from it much, and that'd be because it seems he's a pretty strong-minded fellow that doesn't get drawn in so easily into suggestion like that. That's also one of the characteristics Divers should have. But well, that's just because of the familiar situation he had. As an emergency could happen at any time, he learned to isolate himself in his own little world to block out all external things that could cause him mental anguish.
I don't wanna hear that from the one who caused that same situation!
So what did you think!? Was my answer accurate enough for you?
Hmm, you didn't much anyway, as you could only answer a single question.
And besides, it seems like you had some Diving experience and have some interest on it. What kind of person was your Diving partner?
Gyaaaah!! Damn, it huuuuuurts!!
Idiot! Don't make me remember that!
You opened up an old scar!!
It suddenly got pretty hot, so I instantly began feeling very dizzy. But I had so many things I had to do... Looks like summer break is about to begin, and since it's the time for people that have vacations to rest, let's make sure to put all our efforts into resting! ...That's what I've been earnestly thinking the last few days. Maybe I'm just growing old and losing vitality due to it. I'll continue writing the Toukousphere even if I have to slow down to a crawl to do it, so we hope we can continue working together from now on!
