As keeper of one of the corners that started shortly after the dawn of the Toukousphere and that has been at your side until the very end, I have to announce this will be our final issue.
Both myself and everyone else had a great deal of fun answering the passionate questions you send us as well as explaining about it. I wish you will never lose your interest toward Ar Ciel.
Well, then it's time to say it for the last time!
Technical Service Center!
Please make sure to enjoy it until the end! Kyuukyuu!♪
I still continue existing as an Origin even after my resurrection.
There are several differences between the Origins and the Pureblooded β-Types, but the extent of these differences were explained through the research Sasha and the others did. However, the most fundamental part of it all would be that they were unable to find out the structural differences for both types of the Triangular Nuclear Loop. It was then that they got the help from the Wills of the Planet, and thanks to that it's that I barely got to revive as an Origin.
So I'm really grateful to everyone for everything they did for me.
I've been wondering about this for some time, but are Harvestasha and Rhaplanca, who appeared in songs like the different versions of Singing Hill, people that actually lived a long time ago in that world? And what kind of people were they? Also, are they related in any way to any of the characters that appeared so far in the games? There was a time in which I had the theory that Harvestasha could have been the person who became the basis for the Reyvateil Origins, but I'd like to hear a final answer on this. That's why I sent this question.
Our names are merely taken from mythological and legendary figures, so we aren't really related to the people that originally bore them. It's just like researchers in your world have christened supercomputers after legendary figures in your world.
By the way, there is no one in this world that can actually validate that Harvestasha and Rhaplanca actually existed in the past or if they were merely legends. However, we could establish contact with the Wills of the Planet, so these legends are partially correct. In other words, people like Harvestasha were beings called "Demigods", which received life as a being in the surface and took human form in order to carry out a certain mission.
It seems that being able to remember or not what their mission was after they were born varied for each of them, but they generally died once they had carried it out. In other words, the occasions the Gods wanted to push history forward in the surface themselves and send the Demigods to do so were what ended becoming the legends we know today.
Mir has what "could be called eternal life" through the use of all sorts of tricks, but is her body immortal too?
The life span of her Triangular Nuclear Loop is supposed to be synonymous with the life span of her body, so wouldn't normal βs disappear after 150 years? Is Mir still alive because she tampered with her Telomere limiter, or is it because she is equipped with some sort of special Triangular Nuclear Loop?
Well, for some reason it seems like you're the only one who can always be at Lady Shurelia's side, so make sure to get along well with her!
As I'm right now, my life span isn't unlimited. What happened before was just that I completely lost my body and thus, I just became a being which only consisted of a digital "Will".
Now I've regained my body, I have a life span of 150 years due to being a Pureblooded β-Type, just as you imagined. But well, even if I don't want to live forever, so I'll just do everything I want to do with the 150 years I have, so I don't have anything to regret when my time in this mortal coil ends. I think I'll be happiest like that.
We were told that Ec Tisia means "Forgive Everything", but what does XaaaCi mean? Also, both Lere and Saki rule over the creation of animal life forms as Wils of the Planet, but what difference is there between them? As they have the same role, I'm thinking there would be overlap among them, or do they both rule over the same aspect of Ar Ciel? Also, would it be okay to consider Juklizda as the highest ranking Will of Ar Ciel? Or are they all equal in rank?
XaaaCi means "Protect with a tremendous power, and carry out a hallowed transformation". In other words, protect this planet at all costs, and commence a serious final fight to reinitialize it as a planet.
And there are differences between Saki and Lere, but since Lere is more advanced in age than Saki, she would actually be the Will that rules over all "Life". Saki mainly rules over animal life forms and Shelanoir mainly rules over plants, but Lere rules over both of them, so maybe it would be more accurate to say that she is the Goddess that rules over the entirety of the cycle of life. Besides, Lere has next to no capacity for creating life, which is why life is mostly born from Saki and Shelanoir. Of course, they are are also related in many ways to the other Wills of the Planet.
Cocona sang METHOD_HYMME_GRANZERO=SPEAR/., but why did this Song end up with a name so different from things like Energy Ball or Tower Connection? Or did Cocona herself name it?
I personally was thinking that the name was given by the Tower in order to identify each individual song, and that things like Energy Ball or tower Connection actually had different names for the Tower to recognize them... but is that how it actually is?
I'm a bit embarrassed about having to talk about that title, but well...
Anyway, about the Song Magic titles, pretty much no one says the official names for them, and that's also the case for the Extracts (like for example EXEC_LINKER/.), but they do have official names.
Among the Song Magic that's been revealed so far, we've got examples like Aurica's "EXEC_HYMME_LIFE_W:R:S/." That's the official name for Aurica's healing magic series "Life Warmth" and such . So it's just like you said, each Song Magic has a different name that's not the official one... we could say they're like "nicknames".
Thank you very much to everyone for having been with us for such a long time! We had a total of 122 issues, and including the Flash Toukou from next issue, the Toukousphere will end up having a grand total of 123 issues.
I decided I would continue doing this even during holidays or New Year, no matter what, and we've doing this for five years without skipping on even a single issue. That's the sole greatest acknowledgment I can give to myself.
Even though we've gone beyond a hundred issues, and that it's been only a year since Ar tonelico 3 was released, we still constantly keep receiving lots of submissions, and we've maintained a steady readership here. I can only think it's pretty rare that project done alongside the users is quite a pretty rare thing, no matter how much I look around, and even more unheard of is that one managed to continue for so long.
There were many hard times during it, and we had quite a carnage in our hands when it came to developing PS3 games. However, I could manage to continue bringing fun to everyone despite all that for all this time.
There might be a chance in which we'll be able to meet again in some other way. And if that time ever comes, and we get to be able to make another world together, I'll be happy as you can't ever imagine.
Next time, we'll hold the final Toukousphere issue "Toukou Flash", and I'll be extremely happy if you can enjoy it.
Again, thank you very much for the five years we spent together!
