This Technical Service Center ended on the brink of becoming my Delusion Dojo for some reason, so that's why I ended up having the duty of doing the title call. Even so, it's not such a large delusion.
Of course, all the other submissions are normal technical questions, so don't worry much about it.
I can talk about this from experience, so yeah. They do have signs and they come about very abruptly.
Theoretically, a Reyvateil is capable of knowing her remaining life span, and while she can say about how much time she has left before she kicks the bucket, she can't actually know about it long before that happens.
But when she's just a few hours away from death, she'll somehow know how long she has left. But since it's pretty unpleasant to know that from the outset, she won't know exactly when she'll die. Still, she'll begin strongly feeling things like "There's still so much I want to do", which means that generally that'll happen after some hours... which shows how strongly conscious we are about this.
So when the time comes, she'll think "Yeah, I'm gonna die"... So they can't really know their time of death in a way as precise as "I've only got ten days, 22 hours, 38 minutes left", as you'd expect. As I occasionally talk in that way, I expected I'd be able to predict when my time came like that, but we aren't programmed so digitally. Too bad.
This is my first submission. Sorry if this question has been asked before.
During Ar tonelico 3's story, Aoto contracted the Border Disease, but didn't he have any other abnormalities after that? (even though they gave him a temporary treatment...)
Also, there are still people with the Border Disease after the game's story ended? And if there are, would it be possible to apply to them the same treatment that was given to Aoto?
The Border Disease is an illness that triggers due to them having Reyvateil natures that are forced to connect to addresses that are outside the Soulspace Server's normal range. So unfortunately, there's no way to fully cure it at the moment. However, it's possible to prevent its onset by removing the factors that cause it from around the people.
The most effective method to prevent it would be leaving the Third Tower's effective range. Once they do that, it will be impossible for the Reyvateil natures to get excited due to the same reason it would render Third Generations unable to awaken, which would nullify the onset of the Border Disease entirely.
Is it possible to create Pureblooded β-Type IPDs with the current technology?
In a submission from a previous issue it was said that if someone has Reyvateil qualities, they could only have them awaken as long as they were in the range of the Tower, but since ATDs could awaken in the Second Tower, would that also be the case for HDs that have IPD ancestry? And there wasn't anyone so far who had both ATD and IPD Reyvateil qualities?
Creating β IPDs with the current technology would be very difficult. Before we could do that, it would be necessary to be able "fully understand" how normal Pureblooded β-Types are created first.
Currently, the only places that still have the necessary technology for creating Pureblooded β-Types are the Third Tower and Platina in the First Tower, but since they only remain as instant-like shapes of that technology, we actually don't understand completely the theoretical principles behind their creation. In short, its has become a kind of lost technology, and the systems that create it have become somewhat like a black box: we know it works but we don't know how.
But to create an IPD β it would be necessary to understand all of that and design them from zero. Of course, theoretically I have the feeling we could just create an IPD β by changing their Server addresses, but it doesn't seem like there are any scientists who are interested in trying it out.
While this would be better for Miu's Delusion Dojo, since it seems to have disappeared, I'll intrude with this submission in the Technical Service Center.
If people ever left for outer space and other planets in the future,
would it be possible for them to create robot suits that can act by themselves that would be able to amplify all kinds of Song Magic by condensing the functions of he Towers (Super Computers) into personal Servers for each Reyvateil?
This idea didn't begin as special suits, but rather as a search for a way in which it would be possible to use Song Magic in outer space, where there are no Towers, and then I decided to come up with a way in which non-Reyvateil personnel like knights could act using independent ships that were like an evolved version of the currently existing airships. That's the kind of distant future story I imagined that could be done someday even if nothing I wrote here ends up becoming reality.
It's all because imagining things is fun!
Song Magic isn't just for attacking after all, and in this situation, the support suits would be suit-sized Ar tonelico-like devices, which could be administrated by Mind Guardians.
And even if there's a technological decay, it should have no effect aside of the individual differences when it comes to the manifestation of the Reyvateil genes, which means there'd be a lot of aggressive people like in the world of the games.
And it'd be pretty weird that several people gifted when it comes to technology like Krusche didn't appear with the passing of time!
It's in this way that I ended up imagining an "Ar tonelico ~Outer Space Travel Chapter~", but...
Given that the person who would launch this would be the same Shurelia who says she feels better wearing her Linkage because it's "comfortable and light", do you really think it'd be become like that with her at the helm...? OTL
Wee yea ra firle inferiare Aurica m.a.m. sphaela.
A very interesting delusion. While it doesn't quite reach the same level as my own, it has a certain value to it.
Song Magic itself are artificial constructs controlled entirely by the Ar tonelico Server, so it's very true that it could be possible to downsize it in the far away future and install equipment that has its same functions in a vehicle.
Otherwise, it would be necessary to put a SH Server on space, maybe like a installed device on a mothership, while the countless fighters that would be around it would each be equipped with amplification devices for the communications between them and the mothership, allowing for the amplification of the Song Magic of the Reyvateils piloting the fighters.
And since it's space, while there would be some effect on the body due to the amount of Symphonic Power consumed, they most likely would continue using it without paying it any mind, so they might still be able to use powerful Song Magic like usual.
Ah, but if the fighters are two-seaters, a Reyvateil and her Diver could board them together. That way, they could Dive as they are in the fighter to craft Song Magic, and also... right, they might be able to do things like cruise through time and space by flip-flopping between the Cosmosphere and reality... but well, this all is no more than a delusion.
And this should go without saying, but since all this was just one of my delusions, reading too deeply into it would just be a waste of energy.
And it's finally July. At the end of this month, we'll finally have reached the Ar Portal's fifth anniversary. It's been five years since we launched the Ar Poral, which has been a precious demonstration of my will to walk alongside you all. And we've all made several things together, so I'm truly grateful for the staggering amount of support you've given us.
So the Ar Portal continues for a long time, and also the Toukousphere, please continue supporting us!
